Salt is a five-year-old female leucistic axolotl, measuring approximately one foot in length. She is a rescue and one of the largest axolotls in my care. Her size is well above average for an adult, which likely reflects a combination of age, genetics, and stable long-term husbandry. Despite her background, Salt has adapted well and remains active and responsive in her environment. (Sibling to Pepper)
